Just a reminder that tonight is our Title I Holiday Happening Night (4:30-6:00) Chorus concert to follow at the Gym. Visit your child's grade level for an academic activity and craft. Visit the Yearbook Table to purchase or order a yearbook. Stop by the media center with Mrs. Brock to complete a Holiday Activity. Mrs. Peacock, NWE Art Teacher will be signing up students from 4th, 5th, & 6th Grade for her Afterschool Art Club. The cost is $50.00 for 6 after-school art classes. She has wonderful activities planned. Money raised from this fundraiser will be used to purchase supplies for ALL students to use in the art room. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, December 18. See her tonight for paperwork and reserve one of the limited spots.

This Thursday Night(December 12) is our Holiday Academic Night and Chorus Concert. Activities in your child's grade level will begin at 4:30. The chorus concert will start at 6:00 in the Gym. Mr. Vess will have a Title I Meeting from 4:00-4:30. Drop in and give your input about the Title I Program.

PBIS presents the Tic-Tac-Toe tournament this Friday for 4th grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade. 1$ to play. Practice rounds will occur before the single-elimination tournament begins. The top three winners in each grade will win a prize from the PBIS store.

The Rock Paper Scissors Royale was a big hit! Congratulations to our winners!

Northwest Elementary is excited to announce our first-ever Rock Paper Scissors tournament this Friday! This event is for Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, and Third Grade. It only costs a quarter to play.


Friday, October 18, 5-7 pm is our Fall Festival. There is food, games, and fun. Please make plans to join our school community on this night. There will be games, food, a Hay Ride, a Cake Walk, a Haunted House, and the Scholastic Book Fair will be here.
We look forward to seeing you. Remember you can pre-order tickets or pay at the door. The Haunted House is $3.00 at the door. All food items are $1.00. There will be Nacho, pizza, popcorn, and drinks. The books at the Book Fair are at various prices. We accept cash, credit cards, and checks at the Book Fair. Tax is not included in the price on the books.

Celebrate National School Lunch Week this year with Northwest Elementary! Encourage your students to eat school lunch this week. Our extraordinary lunch ladies will be handing out awesome prizes all week.

Friday, May 24 is a 1/2 Day Dismissal.
Fast pass at 11:00
Once all buses arrive we will announce for dismissal to begin.
Buses should be at the school by 11:10
Pick up will begin right after the buses depart

Kitchen and office construction will start next week. Due to construction, we will close the office area. If you need to come to the school, you will need to enter through the exterior media center door. We are sorry, but our family cafe will be shut down for the remainder of the school year due to construction.
